More witch-hunted activists support Roger

"I'm fed up with our Unison leadership that has now overseen what will be four failed pay campaigns; a botched defence of our pensions where we now pay more for less. This is all due to the current General Secretary and his colleagues being more protective of a Labour government than our members. In Hackney, we have fought for four years to have regional and national officers elected and accountable to the members, which is what Roger Bannister also stands for.

We also want the dead hand of regional officialdom removed from stopping our members having strike ballots when they want them. Over the last 10 years Roger Bannister has supported members in Hackney on demos, strikes and meetings. So I know first hand that Roger as General Secretary - taking a workers’ wage, not the hundred thousands pounds plus on offer - will fight for the best interests of all our members in all sectors."
